When you stop to think about how each snowflake that falls on your lawn, that sticks to a tree branch or windshield and has you cursing the decision to buy your own home, is completely unique, it can kind of blow your mind.

Snowflakes are one of the smallest, most beautiful wonders of the natural world. Lucky for us, photographer Alexey Kljatoy brings us the treat of up close, crystal clear images of individual snowflakes.

“I capture snowflakes at open balcony of my house, mostly on glass surface, lighted by LED flashlight from opposite side of glass, and sometimes in natural light, using dark woolen fabrics as background.”

So, I mean. Enjoy. And Happy Holidays!
