If you aren’t wise to it by now, Australia has some of the scariest shit on the planet. Great white sharks, snakes, and spiders. Lots of spiders. HUGE spiders.

A lady named Bianca Merrick who lives in Coffs Harbour, Australia recently had a run-in with an arachnid that would leave most of us on the ground in the fetal position or running for our lives. Merrick was driving home from work when she saw this enormous spider hanging from her visor.

Merrick said, “I was on my way home from work when I looked up and saw it staring at me. I considered stopping but I didn’t know how I’d get it out of the car, so I thought the best option for me was to keep driving and pretend it wasn’t there for the longest 20 minutes of my life.”

At this point, I would’ve rolled out of the car while it was still moving, but Merrick is a stronger person than me. When Ms. Merrick got home after an excruciating 20 minutes, she said, “I slowly got out of the car, locked the door, went to sleep and pretended that it never happened. I checked the car next [day], armed with bug spray and a broom but there was no spider to be found.”

So…what you’re saying is that this thing is still on the loose? Great.
