There are no lack of fleet-footed athletes to come out of Brazil. Actually, there’s not even a lack of uber-cool female skateboarders produced by the country – Eliana Sosco and Leticia Bufoni have both made names for themselves in the sport – but there’s something extra special about Rayssa Leal.

It’s not that she’s only 9, or that she’s a girl who skateboards (see above) – it’s that she wears a fairy princess costume while performing some pretty serious tricks.

Her skills have won her a couple of junior street-skating titles and have even gotten her a shoutout from legend Tony Hawk, but it’s her choice of skate clothes that earned her the nickname Fadinha Do Skate – The Skate Fairy.

This fierce little fairy may be a killer skateboarder, but she also loves traditionally girly things like dressing up. And not only is there nothing wrong with that – it’s pretty awesome.

You can follow her on Instagram or Facebook to keep up with her pint-sized fairy princess lifestyle.
