JK Rowling keeps the people on Twitter rolling with her pithy comebacks on the reg, but my personal favorite might be her response to a fan back in March of 2015:

The OG poster has since deleted their Twitter account, and this screen grab is a little blurry:

But the original tweet was:

“Thank you so much for writing Harry Potter. I wonder why you said that Dumbledore is a gay because I can’t see him in that way.”

And Rowling’s response, short and sweet as it was, went viral:

Buzzfeed still has a grab of the responses from Kocovic before she deleted the account, which I hadn’t heard about until I started digging around for this article.

It kind of sounds like it may have been a relatively innocent question because Kocovic didn’t seem as nearly turned off as some of Rowling’s other fans have been since the author revealed in 2007 that Dumbledore was gay.

In fact, Kocovic’s 1st reply was quite gracious:

“amazing answer… Yes you are absolutely right. Such an inspiration!!!”

The second one mentioned that they thought Dumbledore and McGonagall should be a couple.

To which Rowling offered no response…

Let’s close this out on a brighter note:
