No matter what your ideal life looks like, we all have room for improvement. Whether you’d like to be more organized, have more time for yourself, or spice up your family game night, I’ve got some thoughts!
#6. Do a little meal prep

There are several reasons why prepping and freezing meals in advance is helpful, from health to financial planning, but the biggest one for me is not having to go through the dinner rigamarole: deciding what’s for dinner every night, making sure we have the ingredients in the fridge/pantry, making a trip to the store in the middle of cooking, yada yada yada.
There’s an art to it, but you can figure it out. You’ll be glad you did.
#5. Find an awesome planner

I like this one, but you’ve got tons of options. It can take a bit of time to get into the habit of using a daily planner, but once you do, you’ll find there’s just not any electronic option as helpful.
For some extra fun, spice it up with stickers or pretty pens!
#4. Meditate

Whether you’re new to meditation or it’s old hat, taking some time to relax and let your mind go blank is guaranteed to make you feel better about your ability to tackle it all tomorrow.
#3. Organize your house – or at least one room

I like to tackle organization one room at a time (or even one closet/cabinet at a time) so as not to get overwhelmed. With a handy reference tool like this, you can move through your house at your own pace until the whole place feels like it belongs in a well-organized spaceship. If that’s what you’re going for.
#2. Make time for yourself

Take a bath. Read a book. Paint your nails, or lock your kids out of the room and watch R-rated movies for a whole Saturday. Everyone will be better off in the long run.
#1. Incorporate weekly family time

Whether it’s game night, movie night, make-your-own pizza night, or a planned outing, the family that plays together, stays together. Time with your spouse and/or kiddos is as important as taking time out to replenish your own reserves!
