actor-anthony-perkins-found-out-he-had-aids-by

Actor Anthony Perkins found out he had AIDS by reading it in a tabloid magazine. Perkins, who played Norman Bates in Hitchcock’s ‘Psycho’, was in the hospital in 1990 and had his blood tested for another illness. His wife suspects someone tested him for HIV and leaked the positive results to the Enquirer, which ran the story before he even knew about it. He died of AIDS two years later. Source Source 2
