Courthouse Dogs Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides technical assistance and training for agencies that want to establish a best practices program for utilizing a dog to provide emotional support to people in legal proceedings.
These facility dogs are trained for over two years to do a variety of tasks in high-stress situations, and provide a calming presence to those who must relive a traumatic experience on the witness stand, or testify in front of their attacker.
