The highest and lowest points in the contiguous US are located in the same county. Mount Whitney and Death Valley’s Badwater Basin are about 90 miles apart, but both can be seen from Dante’s View in the Black Mountains.
They can also be seen together from the Panamint Range, particularly Telescope Peak.
