Harry Potter books helped protect kids from traumatic injuries. When a British emergency department reviewed their 2003-2005 data, records showed that the number of kids aged 7-15 who visited the ER on weekends decreased by nearly half on the release dates of the 5th and 6th Harry Potter books.
