A night out to the symphony may be entrancing for classical music lovers, but it’s not often that a classical performance gets so…exciting. The North State Symphony in Redding, California was performing Igor Stravinsky’s “The Firebird” when the unexpected happened. Let us all enjoy this hilarious incident that was thankfully caught on video.
A woman snoozing in the audience was suddenly awakened at a shift in the music. The instruments quieted, and the bass drum erupted in glorious thunder – and the woman SCREAMED. This amused not only her fellow crowd members but also the symphony and even the conductor.
But I don’t think Mr. Stravinsky would have been pleased.
Hear the scream heard ’round the concert hall in this hilarious video.
