A huge part of Christmas is the decorative spirit. Some homes go above and beyond and brighten up their whole neighborhood at night. Others don’t bother, and some are too lazy to put in a great effort.

You can always tell who didn’t feel like getting creative with their lights and decorations. Let’s see some examples.

When The Gingerbread House Breaks

Seeing your gingerbread home break isn’t fun. It’s a great way to spruce up the spirit in the home, so you never want it to break prematurely.

Instead of tossing it, this person added a dinosaur eating it to justify it breaking.

The homeowner that did this is pretty clever. Getting a giant sign that says they stole your decorations is genius.

At least this way, folks might believe that you really got robbed.

The wife forced this spouse to decorate, but this is all they managed to do.

At least it’s a festive message, but they could’ve cleaned up the weeds around the sign.

It’s probably the worst house on the block because it looks so sloppy, but that’s how they wanted it.

There’s no need to do the top when you have a loading sign to put up there.

Besides, that tree looks pretty tall. You wouldn’t want to fall putting up more decorations.

They didn’t need to put the tree together. Lighting the box was enough for them.

Honestly, it doesn’t look bad at night, but it’s probably lackluster during the day. That’s pretty lazy.
