A Reddit user asked people about company secrets that they are now able to share because they don’t work there anymore.

The post received nearly 4,000 replies! Here are some of the more popular ones.

Dunking On Dunkin’

This former Dunkin’ Donuts employee wanted to let everyone know that the company was rather wasteful with its leftover products.

They say that they would throw out any leftovers at the end of the shift and only donate the extras around Christmas.

Cameras Also Record Sound

This person says that while many people know about and accept the fact that there are security cameras in schools now, what they don’t know is that people can listen in.

They claimed that the administrative staff would listen in for drama and gossip.

Don’t Trust The Decaf

If you are a decaf coffee drinker then this person’s secret may quite literally keep you up at night.

They say that the only difference between the regular and decaf coffee at their deli was the fact that the pot of decaf had an orange lid.

Not The Most Secure Storage Method

This former dollar store employee knew that their management did not have the most secure way of hiding the key to the business.

They claim that a key to the store could be found under the rug by the front doors.

Recycling Isn’t Always Recycled

We have all been told about the importance of recycling and how it helps to prevent things from going to the landfill.

Or so we thought. This former recycling center employee claims that most recycling actually ends up in a landfill.

Misleading Organic Produce

Organic food is supposed free of any pesticides or fertilizers.

This person is claiming that in their organic store the things that were labeled as organic were just that, only labeled organic. It was the exact same produce as the non-organic.

Not So (Victoria’s) Secret

Victoria’s Secret offers the service of properly fitting customers for their correct bra size.

This secret is claiming that if someone measured above the size that they sold in the store, they would just tell them they were a 38 and would not encourage them to try a bra on before they bought it.

Priority Decline

Processing times for banks and online institutions can take quite a while.

This credit card company would offer a small fee to jump to the front of the line for processing. But apparently, that would just result in their application automatically being denied.

They Can Hear You

This person says that if you are on hold with no music, they can hear what you’re saying!

See Before You Hit Send

This tip claims that the employees can see things that you type in the box before you hit send.

Fake Sense Of Urgency

If you’ve booked something from an online booking website you may have noticed a pop-up telling you that there is only one room left.

That may not actually be the case, if this secret is true.

Nobody Knows Where Your Package Is

It is fairly common that you may need to have a product shipped to a store for you.

This person claims that Lowe’s does not have any type of tracking system to give you an update on where your package may be.

Outlet Store Material

Shopping at an outlet store can give you better deals on some products.

But this former Abercrombie worker is claiming that the company prints clothes sold in the outlet stores on cheaper materials.

Brake Pads Are Free

This person is pulling back the curtain and letting you know that brake pads should always be free after the first purchase!

Not Technically Ice Cream

This one really surprised us!

This Dairy Queen worker says that their ice cream is not technically ice cream. This is apparently because there is not enough dairy in it to call it ice cream!
