Knockoff brands that thought they could sneak past us
Not everyone can be a big name-brand company that we all easily recognize.
But a lot of people can be a knockoff of those big name-brand companies. We have put together a list of some of the funnier off-brands that we’ve come across.
The Red Ninja Turtle
This off-brand Ninja Turtle design has got one pretty big thing wrong—the color.
It is pretty well-known that the Ninja Turtles are green, so we hope that people are not fooled by these.
Kennedy Fried Chicken
Kentucky Fried Chicken is one of the most well-known chicken brands in the world.
This company has decided to capitalize on its name being similar to Kentucky for its branding.
R2-Trash2
It appears as though this municipality has decided to make their garbage cans try to look like R2-D2 from Star Wars.
While it looks somewhat similar, we don’t think they are fooling anyone.
The Off-Brand Spokesperson
There are the big-name brand cereal companies and then there are the ones that make a similar cereal.
This person thought they would have a little fun and make a Tony the Tiger-like mascot.
Fake Video Games
You have to hand it to IKEA and its attention to detail in its storeroom models.
They made some video game packages, but we’re not sure about the names of some of these games.
Henry Potter
There are a number of things that are off about this Harry Potter knock-off action figure set.
The first is the name of Henry Potter and the second is that they don’t look anything like the actual characters.
Starducks Coffee
Imagine if someone from a distance recognized the Starbucks-looking logo and colors and walked out of their way for their favorite drink.
But when they got closer they realized they had been tricked by a “Starducks” sign.
Mario, Luigi, And…Lario?
This company looks to be trying to get people to think that Mario and Luigi have another friend who wears purple named Lario.
That is a bit of a stretch, but we are sure they made some sales.
Just Lemonade
You can be very close to the original company in both the name and the packaging.
This lemonade company looks to have borrowed both name and logo from the “Simply Lemonade” brand.
Captain China?
This Chinese company has decided to only change the name of Captain America to Captain China.
They kept the design and colors of the initial superhero the same, even keeping the A for America!
Ham Socks
At a quick first glance, you might think that these were socks from the very popular H&M clothing store.
That is some very creative packaging because they’re actually HaM socks.
Cuuci Shoes
Gucci is one of the most recognizable high-end fashion brands in the world.
These “Cuuci” shoes are clearly a knock-off attempt. At first glance, you might think that they could be the real thing.
Woody Has Taken A Turn
Toy Story is a very well-known Disney franchise.
We have seen all of the movies and cannot think of a movie where Woody becomes a transforming car robot, can you?
The Abibis Mug
This is another classic example of a company that is keeping its name and logo very close to the big name.
It did not take us too long to realize that this was an Adidas knockoff.
Spider-Man And Mickey?
Imagine you are a child and you are all excited to hear that Spider-Man and Mickey Mouse are going to be at a birthday party you’re going to.
But when you show up, these are the two that you are met with.
Is That You, SpongeBob?
This SpongeBob-looking inflatable bouncy castle is just that, SpongeBob-looking.
They have the big yellow sponge look down, but the face and mouth look like they have the potential to scare off some children.

The person who invented this landscaping company must have been a big Law & Order fan, or thought that they were pretty clever.
What if some people driving past thought that the show was shooting in their neighborhood?

This Snipers chocolate has kept its packaging very close to its big-name competitor Snickers.
We are wondering how many people may have eaten them without realizing they were not a Snickers.

This is a very good example of how the off-brand companies will try to make their product look and sound as close to the big company as possible.
