Photo edits that weren’t as subtle as people thought

Photoshop and other photo-editing apps have allowed us to be able to touch up any blemish. Some people, though, do a little more than a basic touchup.

We’ve put together a list of people who went a little too far in how they edited their pictures.

Facetune Brunch

This woman posted the picture on the left of her out to brunch.

She has edited the picture a lot and may have gotten away with it. The only problem is that her friend uploaded the unedited picture on the right.

Very Large Hand

This woman’s picture looks fairly normal at first glance.

However, as you look at the picture a little longer, the woman’s hand is very large compared to the rest of her body.

Her Nose Got Smaller

When you are touching up your face, it can be hard to know when enough is enough.

This woman changed the shape of her face and also made her nose much smaller than it really is.

Super Edit

This woman uploaded the picture on the left to her social media account.

On the right, you can see what she really looks like. The posted picture makes her look a lot younger and really changes the shape of her face.

Cartoon Man?

This might be an early attempt at Photoshop for this man.

The edited picture on the left has really made him look like an animated character from a television show and a lot less like a real human.

Ultra-Smooth Skin

The editing in this picture is very evident and may not have been what she was hoping for.

Her skin is so “smooth” that it looks like her nose and chin have been blurred out.

Complete Opposite

This woman is an Instagram model who appeared on a reality television show.

It took viewers a while to realize that it was really her as there were no filters or edits on the show.

Wading Pool

This man really wanted to touch up his face in his wading pool picture.

The edited result is that it looks like his face is not really part of his actual body.

Focus Is Not On The Ring

This happy couple snapped a picture right after they became engaged.

There has been some serious editing going on. So much so that people may not be focused on the engagement ring.

Sticks Out Like A Sore Thumb

This picture of a happy couple has one glaring fact to it—the woman’s face has been heavily edited.

It may have been a better idea to edit both of their faces so that it would stick out a little less.

Another Shrunken Head

There has been so much editing going on with this picture that the woman now has a miniature head.

Once you get going on the editing apps, it can be hard to stop and reverse back to what you really look like.
