Sometimes it does not matter how well you plan something, things can always go sideways.
We have put together a list of times when people had their plans backfire on them.
Cheese Vs. Knife
There are things that you know that your knife will be able to cut through.
Cheese is one of those things, or so this person thought. The block of cheese took a chunk out of their knife.
Unpaid Prize
It is nice to be recognized for your hard work by your employer.
This person’s excitement about receiving a scratch card quickly changed to confusion when they realized they “won” unpaid time off.
Forgotten Soda
When you are really thirsty, a nice ice-cold can of soda hits the spot.
This person wanted to speed up the cooling process by putting the can in the freezer. The only problem is that they forgot they put it there and it ended up exploding.
Snowy Bedroom
Your room can get a little too warm in the winter when your furnace is on.
This person opened their window to let some cold air in but forgot about it and came back to a snow-filled room.

This person spent a large amount of time organizing their playing cards into a box to store them better.
When they went to take the box upstairs to put it away, they tripped and fell, and now they are back to square one.

This person thought that they were purchasing a box of plastic forks based on the picture on the box.
They got all the way home to read that they were actually spoons.
Unhealthy Living It Is

This man went to the store to buy a big bag of jelly beans as a treat.
When he put them into the bag, they ripped and spilled all over the floor of the store.

A student thought that they would be funny and bought 3000 ladybugs to prank their hall.
This backfired on them because they got out all over their own bed and not out in the hall as planned.
