Taking a bubble bath isn’t only about self-care. Did you know that the bubbles act as a heat insulator? That means the water gets cooler much faster if you don’t use bubbles.

This tactic usually only works with modern acrylic tubs.

If you love coffee, chances are you’ve probably noticed the tiny hole in the lid.

It’s very scientific why it’s there, but simply put, that hole allows air into the cup when you’re sipping, so the flow of coffee is more regular.

Initially, golf balls were smooth. After trial and error, players found that they played better with the distressed balls (cracks, old, scuffed, etc.).

Manufacturers picked up on this and created artificially aged dimples.

You’ve probably noticed that the majority of produce has stickers on it. If there are four digits and the first number is four, it was sprayed with pesticides.

Five digits starting with nine as the lead means it’s organic.

The Stripes On Earphone Jacks

These stripes aren’t for decoration or to boost aesthetics.

They indicate what type of headphones you have: one stripe means the sound comes in mono; two stripes means it’s in stereo; and three stripes means it includes a microphone.

The Redder The Gills…

In Turkey, they flip the gills of fish inside out as a way of showing customers how fresh the catch might be.

If they are redder, it’s a fresh catch. Pale gills mean they’ve sat for a while.

Apple Trees For Bonsai

You can use apple trees for the art of bonsai, but that doesn’t mean the apple spirit goes away.

Even after all the trimming and shaping, it can still bear fruit as you see here.
