So, we’re all stuck at home trying to help our kids with their homework and gaining a whole new appreciation for teachers. It’s not always an easy job being a teacher! But, that aside, some of the stuff you learn in grade school can be pretty dull. Do you think I remember anything I learned in sixth-grade math?

This person was lucky enough to come across a little baby snail when they got home. If you notice, the snail’s shell is see-through, which they are when a snail is still a baby.

This house is situated by the ocean. The saltwater is super corrosive and has ruined the outside handle and lock. It’s wild to see the difference and how much nature has changed it.

In case you needed a reminder of how big tornados can get, this is one coming toward a field of wind turbines. It absolutely dwarfs them! It’s like they’re made of toothpicks.
Technology Has Changed So Much

All those floppy disks in the bucket make up about 138.24MB. The person who posted this used those in about 1995. The USB on top of them was used in 2018 and held 128GB. It’s neat to see how far we’ve come.

What A Majestic Creature

This woman is standing in front of a fully grown Sequoia tree. They grow to be gigantic with an average trunk diameter of 20–26 feet! Truly a tree that would make you feel tiny.

These little critters ate this leaf like it was nobody’s business and they left all the veins of the leaf intact, which is pretty interesting. It’s neat they just instinctively know to line up like that.

This is a cup of water, but what makes it interesting is that there are two types of water in this glass sitting on top of one another. The bottom is tap water and the top is sparkling.
There’s Something You Don’t See Every Day

This can and bottle are from over 20 years ago and were made by beer companies who wanted to donate resources that could be used after natural disasters or other emergencies.

The tomato on the left is a modern, everyday tomato that you’d find in a store. The one on the right is a tomato that was grown from 150-year-old seeds that were discovered.
