Sure, she’s a robot (“not a girl”), but that doesn’t mean Janet from The Good Place doesn’t get humanity on a deep, meaningful level – a fact that is all but proven by these 8 moments, in which she said what we were thinking and felt what we felt.
I’m not sure what it says about humanity that we see ourselves so clearly in a non-human robot person, but – hey. Maybe we would do well not to question it quite so much.

Yes, this is an unashamed plug for The Good Place, but it’s one of the best, most insightful, and funniest shows on television. So…I guess watch it.
