A new docuseries, Dogs, premiered on Netflix on November 16.
It was inspired by a chance meeting on the streets of New Jersey by Glen Zipper (creator) and a skinny neglected dog with missing patches of hair. Much to Glen’s dismay, Anthony (the dog) was shipped off to a shelter where he would be euthanized. Luckily, Glen made it to the shelter, where he not only adopted Anthony but connected with the other waiting dogs. Thus, Netflix’s new Docuseries, Dogs, was born.
In this new series, Glen traveled to, Japan, Italy, Syria, Costa Rica and throughout the US, exploring the unconditional love and connection furry friends have with their owners.
