There are two types of people in the world: people who love pranks and people who cannot stand them. But regardless of which category you fall into, this creative prank by a Reddit user is impossible not to appreciate.
Reddit user SeamanTheSailor pranked his dad by sticking one of his belongings to the ceiling every day until he noticed. Read on to find out how many days it took before the dad caught on!
First, the dad’s glasses went onto the ceiling.
“I stuck my dad’s glasses to the ceiling. For every day he doesn’t notice I will add another of his possessions,” the man wrote.
He clarified that these are his dad’s reading glasses, so it’s slightly less evil than it seems.
On day two, he glued his dad’s phone clip to the ceiling.
By this point, thousands of people were following along with this journey on Reddit.
Day three came.
“Day 3 of sticking my dad’s possessions to the ceiling until he notices. Today, a whole shoe,” he wrote.
On day four, he glued his dad’s TV remote. One user pointed out how bold that was.
“Risky move, messing with his remote,” the commenter said. “Better get his belt up there tomorrow.”

Sadly, the dad finally noticed, and all of his belongings came down.
“Well boys it was a good run, but all things must come to an end,” the prankster wrote.
“The f*cking remote, what was OP thinking? Went too close to the sun,” one commenter replied.
“He is our Icarus,” another agreed.
Apparently, father and son had a beer together while reading all the hilarious Reddit comments about the prank.
Good stuff.
