At any baseball game, there is always that one person in the stands who does something that makes the whole stadium laugh, cheer, or sometimes even boo. From awesome foul ball catches to streakers stealing bases, here are some of the craziest baseball fans caught on camera.

Some Fans Can’t Really Mask Their Feelings

Some Red Sox fans really know how to hit ’em where it hurts. Back in 2007 when the New York Yankees came to Fenway Park, some fans came supplied with yellow-haired masks to taunt Alex Rodriguez, who weeks before was caught with a blonde stripper that wasn’t his wife.

Boston fans may have made a punchline out of A-Rod but it couldn’t have gotten to him that much since New York walked away with a 9-5 victory.

The Mets Didn’t Have It In The Bag

The New York Mets had their worst start at home in franchise history in the 2011 season. They were so deplorable that Mets fans knew it would take a lot for the team to dig their way out of the hole they were in.

Instead of keeping the faith, fans at Citi Field decided to commiserate the state of their team by wearing paper bags on their heads, complete with sad faces.

A Curse That Lasts A Lifetime

The Chicago Cubs have been cursed for more than a hundred years which is why this fan from a 2008 game against the Tampa Bay Rays was excited to see his team finally do something exciting. In fact, the Cubs snagged the National League Central title that year and everyone was hopeful the Cubbies were about to break the curse.

Unfortunately, that simply wasn’t the case and the curse wouldn’t be broken for another eight years.

Maybe He Did It For America

This fan looks like he accomplished exactly what he came to do at Globe Life Park in Arlington, Texas. Just observe the look on his face as he rushes past Rangers center fielder Leonys Martin, who looks completely unaware of this prankster.

Baseball is America’s pastime so it’s only right that he wears American flag shorts while attempting this risky stunt. But the run for freedom probably wasn’t worth the hefty fees he was hit with.

It’s A Homer… Simpson, That Is

There’s a bit of wishful thinking on the part of this fan, who dressed up as Homer Simpson with the hope that one of his Angels players would hit a home run. This play on words had just enough baseball magic to help the Angels defeat the Red Sox in the 2009 Postseason.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to advance past the ALCS that year, which would have made them American League champions.

The Lone Ranger

Here is a diehard Florida Marlins fan who refuses to let his season tickets go to waste. Rain or shine, he’ll be somewhere in that stadium, even if it means that he’s the only person there.

It probably sure beats watching the game at home with his kids running around and wife nagging him about something. As long as the beer and hotdog concession stand is open, we’re sure that he’ll be just fine. This is his version of meditation.

Nothing Like A Good Ol’ Riot

This is the result after the Mets won the World Series back in 1969. After they won, chaos ensued and there was nothing that anyone could do to stop these wild fans, completely overtaken by their joy of success.

Although it may look like a warzone more than anything else, we’re sure that the fans there were having the time of their life. Just make you you watch your head for flying bricks and shattered glass!

The Face of Defeat

Somehow, during the process, the man lost his shoe, but that will be the least of his worries once that security guard comes tackling him into the wall. Luckily for him, those walls are slightly padded. Maybe lay off the beers next time.

It’s clear that this man really wanted to be in this moment for this baseball game. He had his tickets, saw that there was going to be a torrential downpour, and still made the decision.

We hope that his friend went to go get some food or beers or else this would truly be a sad sight. But hey, sports wouldn’t be the same without diehard fans like this who are willing to risk illness in order to support their team.

How Many Boys Does It Take To Catch A Ball?

These three boys are experiencing a moment of a lifetime. They probably have dreamt about the day when a fly or home run ball would come their way, and now it’s actually happening.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like any of them have been preparing for the moment since the ball looks like it’s going to go right through all three of them. The boy with the hat wasn’t even close, and the second boy already has his hands closed. Will the boy in the middle make the catch? Stay tuned.

Here, we have the exact same situation except with fully grown men. What’s even more sad is that they’re even further off than the little boys were. While the mean are willing to risk life and limb to catch a ball like this, the women are trying to avoid it at all costs.

At just about every major sporting event, there’s always one person that has to take things too far and ruin the fun for everyone. We’re not sure exactly what happened here, but we’re going to assume that this guy tried to rush the field and ultimately ended up with his hands behind his back.

There are only a few rules that baseball fans have to follow at the stadium, and he broke one of the few! That’s just sad, man.

What would a New York Yankees game be without your trusty, dusty broom? We wish we knew the backstory behind this, but we’re going to guess that this broom is these guys’ good luck totem and they don’t watch a single Yankees game without having it in arms reach.

If that’s the case, that broom has probably seen a lot. Most likely, things we don’t want to even imagine. We wish we could get this jazzed about something like they are with their broom.

What In Tarnation?

We’re at a loss for words on this one. Considering that you’re not allowed to bring anything into any kind of stadium that’s sharp, we find it hard to believe that this man managed to bring an enormous pair of moose antlers with him.

We know we wouldn’t exactly feel comfortable with this guy tripping through the rows of people swinging those things around. That’s a lawsuit waiting to happen. At least we hope he got on the big screen for these bad boys.
