Weird photos that must have an insane backstory

There are many pictures that are easy to understand right away.

Then there are others where no matter how long you look, you’re never quite sure what you’re looking at and how it came to be. We’ve put together a list of pictures where you really need the back story to know what’s going on.

Grandma’s Discovery

The family was going through their grandmother’s photo albums after she passed away and came across a picture of a pillow person.

They did a little more digging and found out that their grandmother used to make these.

Painful Bath Bomb

Taking a bath is usually a rather relaxing experience for people.

This person was shocked to discover that there was a large screw sticking out of the bath bomb that they bought.

Parasitic Pen

This might look like two ballpoint pens, but it is much more than that.

The employees at this grocery store are getting pretty creative with their in-store display.

They made a tuna fish display out of tuna cans. The fish is “jumping” out of the water as it’s surrounded by cases of water.

This person has some rather painful looking scars on their hand.

They fell on a gusset plate at work a number of years ago and are holding up the plate that caused the damage.

An eye doctor had quite the eye-opening discovery when examining a woman’s eye.

They found 27 contact lenses in the woman’s eye. Was she just adding new ones on top of the old ones?

Zombie Spider

This zombie spider is something straight out of a horror movie.

The spider is covered in a fungus, is half dead and half alive. It can still crawl around in this state!

A person was very confused when they came across this in an antique store.

It looks like it might be a human statue of some sort wrapped in string. It costs over $10,000!

At first glance, it looks like this girl is pouring a bottle of pop off of her head.

That actually just a creative way that she has her hair styled to look like a it’s pouring pop.

Attack Of The Mosquitos

How would a person manage to get that many bugs on their motorcycle helmet?

They had unknowingly driven right through a swarm of mosquitoes while out for a cruise and had to pull over because it became difficult to see.

Hooked Anchor

This ship was pulling up their anchor as they were getting ready to sail off.

As the anchor came out of the water they realized they had hooked on to an old torpedo!

Nutella Party

This person’s neighbors had a party the night before.

The next morning they put out a recycling bin full of Nutella containers. Makes you wonder what kind of party goes through that much Nutella?

A plumber was shocked at the state of this pipe that they were replacing.

This man was driving down the highway when he noticed what looked like a small white mountain on the side of the road.
