One Woman And Her Husband Had Finally Settled On A Name For Their Unborn Son

In a post on Reddit, the anonymous woman explained that she is expecting her second son with her husband.

The two have a two-year-old son, Harry, and have decided that they want to name the new baby “Alan.”

The Name Holds A Lot Of Significance

Originally, she and her hubby had chosen the name Alan because that was the name of one of her favorite characters from a book, and the name of her partner’s favorite teacher.

But, the name is also the same name as her best friend’s ex—which is why the best friend is claiming that she shouldn’t name the baby that.

She Was The One Who Ended Things

The Reddit user explains in her post that her best friend has a huge problem with the name of her godson, reminding her of her ex.

The mom-to-be explains: “I would understand this if they just broke up but they dated 10 years ago. She broke up with him. He didn’t cheat. She didn’t cheat. She just stopped loving him.”
