The boy king ruled Egypt over 3,000 years ago, but one question has always remained: what did King Tut actually look like?

Thanks to modern technology, we have an answer. Scientists used a CT scanner and DNA analysis to conduct a “virtual autopsy” to determine exactly what King Tut looked like, and they were surprised at what they found.

The virtual autopsy showed that King Tut was inbred and his parents were brother and sister. This led to many complications in his life. His spine was crooked, he had large, womanly hips, and a club foot. He walked with a cane at all times.

Scientists and historians long believed that Tut injured his foot falling from a chariot, but this evidence clearly shows that his club foot would have kept him from ever riding one.

Tut died at the age of 19 and was in poor health for most, if not all, of his life.
