Some Annoying A-Hole Actually Sent Back a Sandwich Because It Wasn’t Perfectly Cut in Half

I used to work on a food truck in New Orleans, and I can still picture the horrified look on the face of customers when I handed them one of our delicious burgers and it wasn’t perfectly cut in half. It was a human tragedy on a grand scale. If you’ve worked in the service industry, you feel my pain. And it got even better when people then passed the burger back through the window and asked for it to be cut into 4 pieces! (This often happened when it was 95 degrees out and 75 people were in line). Recently, a woman in Australia sent a sandwich back at a restaurant because…wait for it…it wasn’t perfectly cut in half.

Workers at the restaurant said, “Close but not close enough – the girls were 5mm off a direct centre cut yesterday. This was brought back as a legitimate complaint + the roll was replaced. For those who have worked in hospitality you will understand the randomness – if you can’t have a laugh life will be pretty dull!” This might be the ultimate facepalm moment in the history of mankind.

Is the customer always right? Seems like kind of a stretch in this case…
