I’m not gonna lie, I’d probably do this if Taco Via in Overland Park, Kansas burned down. IT MEANS THAT MUCH TO ME. Anyway, a Taco Bell in Montgomery, Alabama went up in flames and partially collapsed due to an electrical fire. Montgomery residents Russell Dowis and Katie James jokingly created a Facebook event to commemorate their beloved Taco Bell.
“Please join us in mourning the okay customer service as we stand together in the loss of our beloved taco bell,” the event page states. “May we never forget the okay customer service and long wait line for the oh so delightful baja blasts and 5 dollar quesadilla box. Bring your own candles. We are broke.”
Surprisingly, over 500 RSVP’d and over 100 people actually showed up to mourn the tragic loss..across the street in the Arby’s parking lot. A group called the Baja Angels showed up to sing, dance, and give praise.
