Who says you can’t get a second chance (or a third.. or fourth) at love?
It’s easy to get down in the dumps for years after a failed relationship, but this article will prove to you that you should never give up hope! You live and you learn, right? And, as the saying goes, there are plenty of fish in the sea.
A young woman named Ana Stanowick recently posted a picture with an explanation on Twitter that got quite a reaction and went viral. Stanowick tweeted out a photo with this explanation:
“My dad used to get so mad every time my mom would come home w a new coffee mug (she likes to collect them) and her new bf literally built her a wall to display her collection.
This is why we don’t settle for loser boys, ladies!!!!!”
People on Twitter thought the gesture was incredibly sweet and it started a conversation about second loves and the lack of support from some men out there.
Here is how some of them responded to the post.
I had to hide books from my first husband, he hated to see me learn anything new or spend money. My second husband built me a bookcase and has another one planned. Never settle, move on and find someone who appreciates you for who you are, not who they want you to be. pic.twitter.com/2RX16k634K

This guy sounds awesome!
my dad was an addict and emotionally abusive. and would call my mom fat and make fun of her for trying to lose weight.
my stepdad bought them paddleboards so they can go together, paid for a personal trainer and goes on hikes with her daily bc he knew it was important to her. pic.twitter.com/QIkosuAH6m

The love we all want…
I LOVE this. My dad used to literally never move from the couch and make my mom do everything for him. Her new boyfriend is constantly trying to help her and do things for her and she has no idea what to with herself! It’s so sweet to watch.

Some aren’t there yet…
Sounds like my dad ?
And I’ve been telling my mom to divorce him for years. She deserves better.— Chubby Godzilla (@KingWomp) June 13, 2019
But there’s always hope!
Yes! My mom says she wishes she had left way before she did. (She stuck with it for 28 years ?)

Never say never! Especially to a new relationship that could potentially make you very happy.
What about you? Have you ever had a second shot at love?
