Many of us know and love Morticia, Wednesday, Gomez, Pugsley, Uncle Fester, Cousin It, Thing, and Lurch: you know, the members of the Addams Family.
Tumblr recently took that love and multiplied it so that there’s plenty to share. Fans of the television show and movies reimagined a world in which the family decides to rent out rooms in their home to college students who need somewhere inexpensive to stay.
It makes sense! If you’re a fan of the Addams Family in any form, you probably recall that they lived in a giant house.
A really giant, really creepy house. But no matter! The house might be a little strange, but adventure definitely abounds there.
As you can imagine, the results are hilarious (and also strangely comforting and nice).
First, let’s set the scene:
You know Morticia and Gomez would take the interests of their tenants under consideration…
Gomez would totally be generous! Living there would be a dream, right?
The college students would pick up so many new skills, like fencing…
and gardening…
..and Lurch would definitely make sure the music majors know their stuff.
The students would truly pick up traits and skills that they could carry with them anywhere.
Doesn’t it kind of sound like the perfect situation for broke college students and a family who is just trying to do their part?
Who wouldn’t want to live there?
