Wow. Someone actually took the time to do this. Unreal. The Star Wars universe is full of strong female characters and, apparently, that didn’t sit too well with one loser – I mean, person.

So this person created their own version of Star Wars: The Last Jedi… with some female characters completely cut out and others drastically cut down. Seems like a good way to spend 100 hours… The Last Jedi: De-Feminized Fanedit clocks in at 46 minutes as opposed to the original 155-minute running time.
The unknown uploader said of their version of the film, “The intro sequence is now very watchable and actually much cooler without all of Leia’s nit-picking. Now it’s all one united Resistance fighting without inner conflict and that’s much more satisfying to watch. Due to the extreme shortening, the whole movie is much more fast-paced now.”
Take a minute to think about what is said. This de-feminized version is more satisfying to watch because the inner conflict is removed. Well that seems like one great big euphemism to me.

And the people of Twitter showed no mercy, including The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson and none other than Mark Hamill.
