20 Facts You Didn’t Know About Peter Dinklage

Think Celeb

Most of us only met Peter Dinklage a few years ago, when he landed (and crushed) the role of Tyrion Lannister on the HBO hit Game of Thrones. From his raw, honest portrayal of a beloved character to his impassioned speeches at awards shows, it’s been impossible not to fall in love with him.

Still, I’m betting there’s plenty of things you don’t know about him. At least, until now.

Read on!

#19. He’s classically trained – Peter graduated from Bennington College in Vermont with a Bachelor’s degree in Drama. The school invited him back in 2012 to give a commencement speech to the graduating class, which he slayed.

#18. He doesn’t worry too much about whether people are politically correct.

“I hate all that ‘little person’ shit. Call me a midget, but just be real. I am all for correct terms, but please don’t tiptoe around feelings. Don’t be too careful, because that shuts you off from people.”

#17. Peter loves animals – he’s a vegetarian.

Instead he said ‘at the age of 80 with wine in my belly, and a girl’s cock around my mouth’. The two reportedly laughed so hard they had to stop filming for a day.
