Gardening is a lovely hobby, but it’s a lot harder than it looks. Each plant is different, and you have to be consistent in your care to ensure they all stay alive.
Other things can threaten the livelihood of your pretty garden, as Twitter user baddestmamajama learned. She decided to tweet about a lizard that tried—but failed—to destroy her container garden.
First, she set up the story and explained that they thought pill bugs were the problem.
But then the beer traps mysteriously began moving. That’s where things got curious.
So she explained how they began the process of figuring out WHAT is happening.
She decided to become a sleuth!
She took more pictures of the problem.
So our investigator used her deductive reasoning skills.
And she noticed a pattern!
So what was happening? She narrowed down a suspect.
So she remembered a few critters that used to visit her childhood garden.
Things aren’t this wild in L.A., where the OP now lives. So what could it be?
But her investigation paid off!
This critter has been living it up for a few days now!
So she gave him a nickname and started worrying about the state of his health!
But finally, she chastised Twitter for egging her on to keep supplying him with beer. And of course, added a shameless plug!
At this point, it’d be nice to have some updates on Graham. Has an uninvited guest ever destroyed your garden? Please, share your story with us! The comments section would be a great home for these tales.
