I’m not gonna lie, I’ve often wondered what astronauts eat when they’re in outer space…and I’ve wondered about how they do some other things up there, too…
But back to the food…it’s not like they can order DoorDash in outer space…yet…
Well, I got one of my questions answered in a roundabout way because of this story.
I’ve been to my fair share of pizza parties, but I’ve never seen anything like this before…
But I guess there’s a first time for everything!
Astronauts on the International Space Station threw a floating pizza party and each one of them made their own pie to enjoy. Sounds like a pretty fun idea, right? And you know it probably was a treat to have a taste of back home.
In an Instagram post, French astronaut Thomas Pesquet said, “Floating pizza night with friends, it almost feels like a Saturday on Earth. They say a good chef never reveals their secrets, but I made a video so you can be the judge. Everything but pineapple, that would be a serious offense in Italy.”

The pizzas actually look like they turned out pretty well…or at least edible. But most importantly, these folks look like they were having a great time with each other!
