Remember when you were a kid, and you were watching an animated film with your parents, and then…

…your parents laughed at something you didn’t understand?

I think we’ve all been there.

So, truth test… did you laugh to try and convince everybody else you were in on the joke too?

Yeah, me too.

Surely everyone knows by now that filmmakers have been slipping dirty jokes and sexual references into animated movies for decades, which is why I wanted to share some hilarious-yet-shocking examples of just that!

10) That Time in Inside Out When They Talked About “Bears”

This one went over the head of a lot of adults too, because it refers to a term used by the gay community when describing big, hairy men.

There are SO many bears in San Francisco. You have no idea.

9) That Time When They Made an Orgasm Joke in Aladdin: King Of Thieves 

If you loved Aladdin, odds are you probably saw the the three followups.

Were they good? Sort of. But this moment in the 3rd film was chock-full of dirty-joke goodness.

Yep. That’s Genie talking about Aladdin and Jasmine’s sex life.

You’re welcome. I think.

8) That Time in Frozen When They Joked about Dick Size

This one I can’t let go. It was SO obvious. But still pretty funny. Bravo Disney.

I mean, they just WENT for it. And leave it to Anna to apologize for foot size.

7) That Time in Cars Where the Groupies Flashed Their Headlights

It’s like Girls Gone Wild, but with cars!

We are talking about NASCAR after all. 😉

Also, there’s another reference to boobs (and convertibles) along the highway – which you’ll know is pretty accurate if you do any highway driving.

6) That Time in Hocus Pocus Where the Bus Driver Thinks a Foursome Is Happening

I love Hocus Pocus, and #protip: so does pretty much every girl… ever.

So if you’re watching it with a lady friend, this could be that moment in the film where you laugh together, and you put you arm around her shoulder.

Just saying…

So good!

5) That Time A Sperm Showed Up in Osmosis Jones

It was a decent animated film, and Chris Rock was funny, but this scene in particular really elevated the movie to dirty animated-cult status AND taught kids a valuable science lesson.

Alright, I’m sure very few kids actually asked about the sperm statue, but if they did I hope all you parents informed them about the logistics… eventually.

4) That Time Mr. Potato Head Talked about Getting Head

Honestly, I’m shocked this one actually got through because it’s pretty dirty.

Remember in Toy Story 3 when all the toys are imprisoned in that daycare? And then THIS happens…

I mean… come on Pixar! It’s funny, but taking her mouth? That’s a pretty aggressive way to do a nudge nudge, wink wink to adults. #whoa

3) That Time a Lemon Party Reference Happened in Cars 2

Wow. I mean… lemon party?

If you’ve seen the infamous ‘lemon party photo,’ it can’t be unseen.

But if you haven’t… DO NOT DO IT! #iwarnedyou #seriouslydontdoit

But yes, Cars 2 made a direct reference to it.

Okay Pixar and John Lasseter… we all realize you love slipping sexual references in… but why would you ever make a joke about this?

Unless… okay, moving on!

2) That Time You Said Lord Farquaad’s Name Five Times Fast

Just say it.

Right now.

What does it sound like?

Yep. That. Subtle, and not directly referenced in the film, but it’s there.

Oh yes, it’s there.

1) That Time The Rescuers Literally Had a Nude Woman Hidden in the Background

I can’t hide it, nor should I.

The Rescuers, a Disney film from 1977, featured a flash frame of a topless woman, and here it is.

Once this titillating moment was discovered, the film was modified to cover it up, but yeah… it’s kind of like that time in Fight Club when Tyler Durden inserts single frames of pornography into kids films: both hilarious and disturbing at the same time.
