11 Shows That Were Great From Beginning to End

Years ago, while television entertained millions of families, it wasn’t looked at in the same way movies were—it was always the less respected cousin, lower budget cousin of film.

Few shows are great from beginning to end. Check out twelve that never jumped the shark—it’s time to get your binge on!

1. The Sopranos

Often called the best series ever made, the Sopranos ushered in the era of prestige television.

A mob story told with originality, wit, and plenty of touching moments. (And who isn’t looking forward to its prequel, The Many Saints of Newark?)

2. Daredevil

This Marvel superhero saga about a blind attorney with extraordinary senses hits all the marks in terms of story and never skimps on action or adventure.

3. Dark

Makes Stranger Things look like a fun romp as it explores the mysteries behind a young man’s disappearance in a small German town and the real and psychological horror surrounding the event.

Seriously… if you love dark mysteries and sci fi shows… put this one on your list. A hidden gem FOR SURE.

4. Schitt’s Creek

What seemed like a one-note riches to rags story turned into a heartwarming take on a family coming together that we never wanted to see end.

It really was one of the biggest surprises to hit TV in the past several years.

An anime-inspired series that tacked genocide and war, with witty banter from a team of protagonists intent on saving the world.

7. Penny Dreadful

Solid stuff for fans of classic literature and classic horror (though we’re not sure about the LA-centric reboot.)

8. Fleabag

Will she or won’t she? And will she do it with a sexy priest?
