Listen, I love trees. I’m a tree hugger, I guess, but not in the sense that I go around chaining myself to them in order to stop people cutting them down.
I mean, I would, if I was fond of said tree and the people had no good reason, I suppose.
Trees are like sentinels. Semi-sentient beings that have presided over the world for centuries and have their own stories to tell – and these 11 trees have seen a lot, and will continue to see even more, because they are survivors of the highest order.
