I used to work on film sets for a long time and I got pretty used to overhearing the phrase “that’s not my job” because people said it ALL THE TIME.
You hear it a lot in many jobs, but it’s especially prevalent in construction and trade jobs for a variety of reasons.
These photos show some very clever, but also some very lazy, ways that workers took the easy way out because it “wasn’t their job.”
