It’s no secret that our healthcare system here in the U.S. is pretty messed up, but it really makes me angry when I see the price that people have to pay for certain drugs that they absolutely need to stay healthy and alive.
Like insulin and other medications.
It’s pretty insane and immoral if you ask me…

Let’s take a look.
1. Water wars.
“Water, and stealing it from those who don’t have enough should be considered an act of war.
Beckoning the question of what happens when a corporation has to go to war?
What if they win? Are companies allowed to have weapons of mass destruction? So many complications.”
2. Crazy.
“Epi pens.
We’re literally making people pay to stay alive during an emergency.”

“I’ll start the controversy: Abort**n.
I know this will get a lot of people very upset and pi**ed off.
However, I’d rather have my tax dollar pay for an abort**n and solve the problem upfront, rather than pay for someone who is unwanted for the rest of their life.”

“911 transports. I’m talking mainly about the U.S.
While it “should” be free, for many, it’s not. Actually, it’s very expensive and a lot of people don’t expect a bill for it when all they got is a “ride”. What most people don’t realize is taxes alone don’t cover the cost of an ambulance. If you really consider all that goes into the upkeep of an ambulance it’s understandable.
People throw up all over ambulances, spatter blood, sheets and equipment constantly has to be sanitized and replaced. So while a 911 transport should be free, I’m willing to pay if I need help because I want a modern day ambulance. Not a vintage one from the past that has no equipment to help save my life, or better yet…a family member’s life, till I or they get to the hospital.”
5. Blows my mind.
“Beaches.
How the government allows private beaches or beaches that charge an admission to get in is beyond me, or how some beaches are only for xyz residents.
Yes I get it costs to upkeep a beach.keep it clean/lifeguards. But beaches are natural and should be free to the public regardless of location.”
6. This is messed up.
“A college transcript.
One already goes into debt attending school, your telling me I need to play $50+ for you to search a data base and print out a price of paper?
One should have access to the data that they went in debt to get at any time, not during business hours and for an additional fee.”
7. Great idea.
“Inflation adjustment on your paycheck. Whenever the yearly stats come out, your pay is legally required to increase to match inflation.
If this happened we wouldn’t see people getting squeezed every year and having the same conversation about raising minimum wage. It will simply keep pace and help alleviate pressure at the bottom.”
8. Theft!
“Property taxes. Like, I already bought my house with VAT.
Why do I have to pay an annual property tax too? Why does the state think this is their property? Why do I need to pay to literally exist in my own house an breathe?
Tax specialists agree with that. Pure theft!”

“AED, first responder and occupational first aid training courses should all be free and encouraged.”

“C**aine.
Make it legal and free. This is the only way to stop the drug war and to stop deforestation cause by it.
And the billion resources dedicated to “end it’s production” should be destined to rehab and real education about drugs.”

Maybe not free, but it shouldn’t cost 1/2 everything you’ve ever owned + 1/2 your retirement.”

Especially how I see Americans spending their life savings for medical assistance if they ever find themselves in emergencies is absolutely terrifying.”

“Tampons, pads, some medicine such as insulin, apipen, condoms…
All of these things actually help you or prevent you from other diseases, therefore they should be free and available to everyone.”
