This summer’s Burning Man was held (as ever) in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert and spanned from August 25 until September 2.
The festival of music and art is an “experiment in community influenced by 10 main principles: radical inclusion, radical self-reliance, radical self-expression, communal effort, civic responsibility, gifting, decommodification, participation, immediacy, and leave no trace.”
It’s supped to be amazing – in every sense of the word – and these 16 photos from the 2019 offering come pretty darn close to explaining the experience to those who haven’t had the chance to traipse out there themselves.
