Big Brother is watching. No, we’re not at the level of some other countries yet as far as surveillance, but there does seem to be more and more cameras watching our every move.

On street corners, businesses, while driving, etc. Google Maps captures the world around us, and they’ve accidentally stumbled upon some pretty weird and disturbing images. Take a look at these photos and prepare to be creeped out. Some are mysterious and some are downright chilling.

Somewhere out in the desert, a truck is parked next to…well, what is it? A UFO? From this bird’s eye view, it sure doesn’t look like a run of the mill…anything, really.

This looks very sinister, doesn’t it? Did Google Maps capture the aftermath of a brutal murder? Or is there a more innocent explanation? Possibly a prank. We’ll most likely never know…

Google Images captured this image of a lake in Sadr City, Iraq that is blood-red. As you can see, the surrounding lakes are normal colored, but this one is crimson. Curious…

Apparently, this is a woman being kidnapped at gunpoint and forced into a trunk. These terrifying images were captured from above. Let’s all hope the woman is okay.

This photo was taken in 2016 near Deception Island off the coast of Antarctica. The image is grainy, but it looks as if it might be some kind of prehistoric sea monster. Who really knows what lurks in the depths in that part of the globe…

Let’s take a break from the creepiness to enjoy a nice photo. What did she say? And why did he put it on top of a building? Did he think she was going to fly over and happen to notice? Maybe he should’ve thought this one out a little bit more…

Kind of looks like the Egyptian queen Nefertiti, doesn’t it? This landform was photographed in Alberta, Canada. From this vantage point, it looks like a woman facing sideways. I think I’m right about the Nefertiti thing.

What are the odds of getting this shot? They say this is a natural formation in the land, but from high above it looks like a man riding a white horse. I guess the guy is white, too. Very odd…

This lake was constructed, on purpose, to look like a man from high above in Sao Paolo, Brazil. Even though it’s intentional, it still looks pretty creepy. Kind of reminds me of the end of the film The Wicker Man (the original from 1973).

A strange arrangement of rocks in Cumberland, Maine. What could they represent? A mini-Stonehenge? An altar? Very strange.

I wonder who lives in this guitar-shaped mansion…David Lee Roth? Axl Rose? Maybe the guitar player from Whitesnake?

Satanic panic from 30,000 feet. This “devil’s head” formation in the land outside Atlanta, Georgia is very eerie. It seems to appear out of nowhere. Avoid this area if you happen to be passing through Georgia. Perhaps it’s haunted.

People see Jesus everywhere. Potato chips, sweat stains on a t-shirt, even water running down a wall underneath an overpass. So why not in a field from an airplane? I do have to say, it’s pretty dead-on.

This confusing image was captured in the skies over Italy. No one know what it is or what caused it. From my point of view, it almost looks like an explosion, like the aftermath of the Challenger tragedy. What do you think?

Who’s gonna miss a huge airplane parked on the ground in Brooklyn, New York? My gut tells me this is either a prank or some kind of optical illusion…or is it? The information about this image is lacking, so I guess it will remain a mystery…

This appears to be an enormous, knitted pink rabbit in the middle of a field in Italy. Maybe it’s lost and trying to be reunited with its owner? Maybe…

Spider-Car, Spider-Car, friendly neighborhood Spider-Car. Hey, it’s just a car clinging to the side of a building, is that weird or something? I didn’t think so.

The owner of this little car (kind of looks like a Yugo) is in for one helluva surprise when he tries to remember where he/she parked.

What in the world is going on here? Let’s look at the obvious: a man who doesn’t appear to be wearing much clothing is in his trunk while an apparently dead dog lays on the ground nearby.

I have a theory about this one, and I think it’s much more innocent than it looks. It’s a hot day, the guy is cleaning his ride from top to bottom, and his pooch is tired of taking a snooze in the shade on the driveway. Or it could be something much more evil…Thoughts?

Punch in the coordinates Latitude 57°12’52.13″N, Longitude 4°34’14.16″W and do some research about this image. Rumor is that it could possibly be the infamous, elusive Loch Ness Monster in Scotland. Or maybe it’s a boat. I prefer to believe in Nessie.

Over the skies of Utah, Google Earth captured what appears to be a missile flying through the air. We should probably assume that this is some kind of military test…hopefully.

This could be some kind of lens flare, or maybe a giant condom? Or a UFO? Or some kind of sunburst? The jury is out on this one…

A crop cirlce in the middle of the desert in Nevada. The work of hippies fried out of their minds? Aliens from another planet? A cult ritual?

This odd pattern in China is miles long. What does it mean? From above, it really doesn’t look like an accident, does it?

We actually know the answer to this one, but at first glance it looks like Google Earth snapped a pic of a dead body on the pavement.

Turns out, this was a perfectly timed shot of a girl pulling a prank on her friends…and the rest of the world.

My favorite of the bunch! This looks an awful lot like a pentagram in the middle of nowhere, doesn’t it? I figured this had to be in the U.S., but I’m way off. This glorious shot comes to us from Kazakhstan. I need more info about this! Any help is appreciated!

This is a shot of the North Sentinel Islands, way off the west coast of Myanmar. The tree-covered island is inhabited by the Sentinelese, indigenous people who violently reject any outside influence. The island and its people are pretty much a total mystery to the outside world.

Is this a strange, flamingo-like woman walking in front of some ancient ruins? It appears to be, but most people believe that it is simply a camera glitch. Please let there be flamingo people!

If this isn’t a horror movie being filmed, then this has to be one of the creepiest photos of all time. And where the hell are they? The middle of the desert? Frightening.

The little girls from The Shining are all grown up and they still want to play with you. They’re just a little older and need some help getting around these days.

Look closely. What do you see from this photo taken in France? Although it’s a little hard to tell, it kind of looks like an alien about to take a bike ride. Actually, I don’t even think I want the whole story. Just let the imagination run wild.

The giant bunny from Italy strikes again. And this shot is even creepier. Its face is twisted in agony in this one. Ugh.

These are obviously mannequins, but where did they come from? And who was using and for what purpose? There are some weird freakin’ people out there…

Gumby is under attack. I repeat, Gumby is under attack. It looks like these juvenile delinquents got really pissed off at the bendable guy for some reason. Let’s hope he made it out of there unscathed.

This looks like the aftermath of a horrible plane crash, but rumor has it that this was from the set of Mythbusters. Either way, it was some pretty good timing by the Google Earth folks.

Is this what Hell looks like? Notice the paint on the pavement. Yep, looks like Hell. I will not be venturing to this part of the world anytime soon, thank you very much.

This image comes to us from Japan. The word is that there is a whole town there that has these lady scarecrows scattered around. Weird…

Is this a kid being knocked over because of something these little hooligans did? Sure looks like it by the way the blurry feet are flying out of the frame.

WTF? Is this a cool album cover, or the last remnant of some ancient civilization? Ponder that one…

Wow. From up here, that looks like a dead body next to a set of train tracks and the police investigating it. Wonder what the real story is…creepy.

This shot and the remaining photos on this list are from St. Louis, Missouri. While St. Louis definitely has some things going for it, crime is extremely high and there are a lot of parts of town you don’t want to be caught in if you don’t know where you’re going.

A lot of boarded-up houses and a little girl’s bicycle give this photo an apocalyptic quality. Looks like the whole place is deserted.

It looks like people still live here, but the poverty and neglect are pretty evident. Just across the river in East St. Louis, Illinois is not much better.

This abandoned building appears to be literally sinking into the ground. If you ever drive through St. Louis, you’ll notice how many parts of the city look like an abandoned ghost town.

I hope you enjoyed this trip through the often weird, creepy, and downright scary world we live in. Luckily for all of us, Google Earth is around to capture the odd things we would otherwise miss on a daily basis.
