It’s here. It’s finally here. And now our children can share in the delight that was The Office.
Written by Robb Pearlman and illustrated by Melanie Demmer, The Office: A Day at Dunder Mifflin Elementary follows a young Michael Scott as he aims to become the “World’s Best Line Leader.”
Ms. (Jan) Levinson is a teacher at the school, and she and her students spend the day in a meeting to plan how to line up. All our Dunder Mifflin favorites are here to show us the value of teamwork and that sometimes we all need a little help.
Off the air since 2017, the hit show from the 2000s has been available for streaming from Netflix, allowing more viewers to fall in love with the zany characters pushing paper at Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton office.
For the little ones who aren’t quite ready to see episodes from The Office, Little, Brown Young Readers and NBC Universal came together to make a kid-friendly story with young iterations of the beloved characters.
The book is meant for readers from ages 4 to 11, but any fan of The Office will love the little Michael, Dwight, Pam, Jim, Angela, Kelly, Kevin, Ryan, Stanley, Phyllis, Oscar, Creed and Toby. There are also tons of references to the original show throughout the book, all of which will make adults crack up as they read along with their child.
