Sisters can be mortal enemies one minute and best, best friends the next. This push-pull relationship seems to exist no matter what stage of life they’re in, nor how far apart in age they are.
Though raised in the same household by the exact same parents, sisters can also end up being wildly different from each other, personality-wise. It’s the classic example of the “nature vs. nurture” debate, playing out in every family with more than one child.
Recently, sisters have taken to TikTok to share just how different they approach one specific aspect of their lives: Their bedrooms. Some are completely spotless, incredibly well-organized and color-coordinated. Others… not so much.
It all started with user @nardiyuh, who did a little mini video tour of both her and her sister’s rooms:

The same thing appears to be true, even for twin sisters, as this video shows:
@kiona.clelland (Twin sister*) I moved out of our shared room for a reason #fyp #foryou
And here’s another video showing just how completely opposite two sisters can be:

And look at the elaborate decoration in this first sister’s room compared to the second, wow:
@wetno0dle always keeping your room clean makes you feel more on top of your life 🧘💅
This is further evidence for the theory that genetics probably don’t pre-determine everything. But, hey, on the other hand, maybe the sisters making the TikTok video cleaned up their rooms ahead of time for maximum effect! We wouldn’t be surprised — social media is all about appearances, after all.
