Some people say that the scariest stories are always the ones that are true, but I don’t know…maybe those people just haven’t read a really good book? Because I’ve read some tales that definitely spooked me well!
That said, some of the stories below are true, others are not, so you can decide for yourself what you think – but if you ask me, every last one of these is good for some spine-tingling chills!
29. Not so happy holidays.
My friend and I were going to a party a few hours out of town, so we decided to stay at her family’s holiday house about an hour south of the party (now three hours from home). We arrived around mid afternoon, and it was winter in a holiday town, so the area was completely empty – no other cars on the street.
When we left for the party I spent a moment deciding whether to pull the gate all the way closed. I’d had some trouble opening it earlier when we arrived, and if we were getting home late at night I didn’t want to be stuck outside. I decided to shut it for security.
Party was great, we got back to the house around 12:30, and the gate was open. I immediately felt on edge because not only did I know I’d locked it, but I knee it couldn’t just blow open in the wind, but I didn’t want to make a big deal so I was vague when my friend asked if I’d shut it.
We went inside, and decided to make a snack. I was wandering through the house when suddenly my friend raced from the kitchen into the hallway and virtually tackled me to the ground; she was convinced she’d heard someone walking around outside. We tried to calm ourselves down, but we had no cell reception and there was no one else around. Over the next half hour or so, as we sat in the hallway paralyzed with fear, we heard footsteps outside, and the back door being jimmied.
We decided we had to leave, so we gathered everything up and got ready to make a break for the car. Just as we were at the front door ready to leave, there was a huge bang in the back yard, and suddenly what sounded like hundreds of birds started screaming. We legged it to the car, ended up starting it with all our stuff still on our laps, we hadn’t bothered to even put it in the backseat. As we reversed out the driveway we saw somebody running up the side of the house towards us.
Sped the entire way home and even once we got back to my place, didn’t sleep at all that night.
28. It lasted way too long.
“Nutty Putty Cave in Utah was sealed up in 2009 after John Jones was trapped upside-down in a small crevice while spelunking. When rescue teams finally arrived he had been upside-down for so long that his legs were drained of blood.
The only possible way to have gotten him out was to break his legs, which would’ve sent him into fatal shock. He passed after being trapped for 28 hours. His body’s still in the cave.”
27. A haunted hotel.
One of my brothers worked security in one of New York City’s most upscale hotels. The security desk received a frantic call during one of his night shifts. A guy was calling, all freaked out that his wife was in the bath and was not breathing. My brother and another security guard rushed upstairs to the room. Sure enough, they found a woman in the tub, and she was unresponsive.
My brother and the other guard got her out of the tub and attempted CPR. In the interim, during resuscitation attempts, the NYPD arrived. They told my brother to stop CPR because the lady was obviously dead and in their opinion, had been for a couple of hours. The husband was questioned extensively. He told law enforcement that he and his wife had a fight earlier in the evening.
He went out on his own and when he came back, his wife was in the bath. He says he went to bed at that point but later became concerned when his wife didn’t come to bed. Privately, among all those present, the general consensus was that the husband had something to do with it but it could not be proven. A couple of weeks later, the room was again made available to guests, and of course the incident was not mentioned. A woman who frequently stayed at the hotel, made a reservation for a week and was assigned to that room. She was the first person to stay in the room since the incident.
She came to the front desk first thing in the morning, very upset, and with all of her luggage in tow. She said that she was canceling the rest of her reservation and that she would NEVER be staying in the hotel again. She said that she did not sleep the entire night and that the room was haunted. No one at the hotel had mentioned to her what had previously transpired in the room. While my brother worked there, every guest who stayed in the room, called about strange goings on and many asked to be switched to another room.
26. They couldn’t get to them.
“3 sailors survived the sinking of the USS West Virginia at Pearl Harbor, only to die 16 days later, due to the lack of air.
The Navy knew they were there, but couldn’t get to them.”
25. Static and screams.
A few years ago my brother would get a call on his cellphone around 2:00 – 3:00 A.M. every night. He would answer and it was this hellish sounding noise. Like static mixed with screams. He changed his cell number after a month of this and it stopped.
Then after a week or so it began again. The exact same noise. Exact same time. Finally one day he decided to back-dial the call. It was an old man that had no clue what he was talking about. Still the calls persisted. If he didn’t answer, it would call a few more times. No messages were left.
He decided to say screw it. Ended his contract with his phone company, switched to a new one, and then got another new number. You guessed it, the screaming static calls continued after a short delay. By this time he was terrified every night. Unsure why this was happening. He backdialed the number again and got a different person.
Around this time he lost his job and his phone. The calls stopped of course. His phone was disconnected now. So one day my mom asks me to listen to this weird message she got on our home phone.
It was the static screaming. We showed my brother and he was freaking out. He backdialed the number again and it said the number was disconnected this time.
Never heard from it again after that.
24. It was supposed to be an easy gig.
A few years ago, a mother and father decided they needed a break, so they wanted to head out for a night on the town. They called their most trusted babysitter. When the babysitter arrived, the two children were already fast asleep in bed. So the babysitter just got to sit around and make sure everything was okay with the children.
Later that night, the babysitter got bored and went to watch TV, but she couldn’t watch it downstairs because they did not have cable downstairs (the parents didn’t want children watching too much garbage). So, she called them and asked them if she could watch cable in the parents’ room. Of course, the parents said it was OK, but the babysitter had one final request … she asked if she could cover up the angel statue outside the bedroom window with a blanket or cloth, because it made her nervous. The phone line was silent for a moment, and the father who was talking to the babysitter at the time said, “Take the children and get out of the house … we’ll call the authorities. We don’t own an angel statue.”
The officers found both of the children and the babysitter slumped in pools of their own blood within three minutes of the call. No statue was found.
23. A Christmas party.
A few years ago I went to a Christmas party. That night my housemates went home earlier while I decided to stay and get in the Christmas spirit with a few other friends. I ended up getting pretty hammered and got home around 3am. Instead of going straight to bed I got another drink inside then went out the back porch to have a smoke and look at the stars.
I was outside a couple of minutes when I see the light go on in the kitchen, my housemate comes out and look at me out the back, I wave and generally look like a drunk idiot. I thought he was going to come out and get a debrief on the rest of the evening, as there were some good laughs we had not relevant to this story. Anyway, he just gets a glass of water and goes to bed, I finish my smoke and drink and so do I.
The next morning we’re re-hashing the previous night when he mentions getting up and seeing me having a smoke out the back “who came back from the party with you last night?” I give him a sideways look and reply “no-one dude, I was out there alone”. He insists, “nah man there was someone out there with you, behind you on the porch, when you were looking inside waving. I didn’t come out cause I thought it was some random friend from the Christmas party I didn’t know, couldn’t be bothered making introductions.” To this day he stands by this version of events, whoever it was must have been standing close behind me the whole time, I saw no-one and heard nothing. Gives me chills every time I think about it.
22. And old house.
We bought an old house, my boyfriend and I. He’s in charge of the “new” construction–converting the kitchen into the master bedroom for instance, while I’m on wallpaper removal duty. The previous owner papered EVERY wall and CEILING! Removing it is brutal, but oddly satisfying. The best feeling is getting a long peel, similar to your skin when you’re peeling from a sunburn. I don’t know about you but I kinda make a game of peeling, on the hunt for the longest piece before it rips.
Under a corner section of paper in every room is a person’s name and a date. Curiosity got the best of me one night when I Googled one of the names and discovered the person was actually a missing person, the missing date matching the date under the wallpaper! The next day, I made a list of all the names and dates. Sure enough each name was for a missing person with dates to match. We notified the authorities who naturally sent out the officials.
I overhead one tech say “Yup, it’s human.” Human? What’s human?
“Ma’am, where is the material you removed from the walls already? This isn’t wallpaper you were removing.”
21. The late shift.
I work the 3-11 shift at a seasonally driven hotel. In the off season (October-May), we go from two people at the front desk each shift to one person. I’m the supervisor, so I get stuck alone a lot. Last February-ish, on a Monday, around 10pm, the phone rings. I answer with my usual hotel spiel, “Thank you for calling the [name of hotel], how can I help you?” On the other end of the line was an Asian guy who’s English was awful.
He paused for a second before asking me something in Chinese/Korean/Japanese. “I’m sorry sir I only speak English, I can transfer you to reservations, they have translators.” CLICK. Dude hangs up on me.
Now my shift ends in an hour. I have a system down, where I do all my closing reports, count my bank, all that stuff to get ready to get outta there. In the middle of counting my bank, phone rings again. “Thank you for calling [name of hotel], how can I help you?” It was the same Asian guy! At this point I’m a little annoyed, and I transfer him straight to reservations so they can find someone who understands what he wants. Not five seconds after I transfer him, the phone rings again.
It’s the Asian guy only this time, in very broken English, he asks to talk to Cho. “I don’t have a Cho who works here, is he a guest with us?” The Asian guy is talking very fast to someone in the background when a younger guy gets on the phone. “I’m very sorry to bother you but my father is confused, who am I speaking to?” I’m getting more annoyed by the second, is it time for me to go yet?! “This is the [name of hotel], who are you guys trying to reach?”
The son doesn’t say anything for a second, then I hear him speaking to his dad in the background. After a few seconds of loud (what sounds like) arguing, the son comes back, apologizes for bothering me, and hangs up. Phone rings again. It’s the son.
“Look ma’am I’m really sorry but I’m not trying to call you, we have been trying to call my dad’s best friend Cho all night. He’s had the same phone number for years and we have never had a problem. Only the past couple of times it reroutes us to you.”
I tell him what my phone number is, and he tells me the number he’s trying to dial. I recognize it as a cell phone number from my state, but it shouldn’t reroute to my hotel. I get the sons number, tell him I’ll try dialing Cho’ s number, and I’ll let him know. Dial up Mr. Cho, and instead of going to voicemail, it takes me to my hotels extension options, where if you hit 0 you’ll ring the front desk. Ok, this is getting weird. I call the kid back and tell him my findings. The Asian family is in a panic when the son tells me the reason why they need to get a hold of Cho.
“Look ma’am I don’t mean to freak you out but Cho was fired from his job yesterday and he’s been acting very strange ever since.
This morning he texted my dad basically a suicide note, thanking him for being such a good friend, asking him to look out for his wife and daughter, and that he hopes they meet again one day. Cho hasn’t answered any calls since then. We talked to his daughter a few hours ago and she says he hasn’t been home all day. Is there any way you can look up to see if he’s staying there or maybe you know something?”
At this point I’m freaking out. It’s dead quiet in the hotel, I have maybe ten rooms in house. It’s just me and the housekeeper there. I know for a fact that we haven’t had an Asian gentleman check in with us in over a week, and I checked in almost everyone who came in that day, I know there is no Mr. Cho at my hotel. I apologize profusely and explain we have no Asians, the best thing to do would be to contact his local authorities and report a missing person, and maybe call my towns officers and report it to them too. I say if I find anything out I’ll call them. They thank me and we disconnect.
It’s 10:45 and its creepy at the hotel. Is it possible someone checked in for him? Are the housekeepers going to walk in to a dead Chinese guy in the morning? The overnight guy comes in and I don’t tell him anything. He’s already paranoid and weird to begin with, telling him would make things worse. I go home and dream about suicidal Asians.
Fast forward three days and a body of an unidentified Asian man is found in the bay about two blocks from my hotel. He had a wound in his head. Later that day he is identified by a family friend as Mr. Cho.
Maybe not scary or supernatural, but definitely the creepiest thing that has ever happened to me.
20. Saved by Mom.
A young girl is playing in her bedroom when she hears her mother call to her from the kitchen, so she runs down the stairs to meet her mother. As she’s running through the hallway, the door to the cupboard under the stairs opens, and a hand reaches out and pulls her in.
It’s her mother.
She whispers to her child, “Don’t go into the kitchen. I heard it too.”
19. Not a joke.
Artimus Pyle the drummer from Lynard Skynard survived a plane crash and walked to a nearby house only to be shot by the homeowner.
The homeowner saw a bloody long-haired man and winged him.
Pyle survived that as well and made a full recovery.
18. An unexpected twist.
My daughter woke me around 11:50 last night. My wife and I had picked her up from her friend Sally’s birthday party, brought her home, and put her to bed. My wife went into the bedroom to read while I fell asleep watching the Braves game.
“Daddy,” she whispered, tugging my shirt sleeve. “Guess how old I’m going to be next month.”
“I don’t know, beauty,” I said as I slipped on my glasses. “How old?”
She smiled and held up four fingers.
It is 7:30 now. My wife and I have been up with her for almost 8 hours. She still refuses to tell us where she got them.
17. Very bad shape.
A female friend in college disappeared from a party at another university in the city town 25ish miles north of our school. She had arrived with another friend who I believe had driven. At some point she split off to play corn hole or something and was later inexplicably gone. Phone calls went to voicemail, authorities were called, but she was simply missing.
About 10 days later she was found by a homeless man who witnessed her crawling up to a bus stop in the city, begging for help. She had broken a leg and an arm, and was in very bad shape.
At the (quite large party) she had her drink secretly drugged and was then led off by a group of men into their vehicle. She was taken to an apartment where she was drugged, repeatedly raped, and locked in a small room in between with a bucket to use as a bathroom. At one point after being injected with drugs and raped, she somehow managed to convince one of her captors to allow her to use the actual bathroom to clean herself up.
This bathroom had a small window to the outside, and with the shower running, she managed to squeeze out and fell from the third story into a large hedge/bush. From there she crawled from the apartment complex to the road and bus stop, where the homeless man saw her and called authorities. Many cars stopped upon seeing her, making her captives unable to recapture her.
Three men were later charged after surveillance cameras allowed officers to locate the apartment which she jumped from. She returned to our university almost two years later, graduated, and became a nurse. She was obviously traumatized, never “partied” again, carried a weapon everywhere she could, and somehow moved on with life. It was a terrifying tale none of us ever forgot. She was an 18 year old freshman when the incident happened.
16. You won’t see it coming.
I hate it when my brother Charlie has to go away.
My parents constantly try to explain to me how sick he is. That I am lucky for having a brain where all the chemicals flow properly to their destinations like undammed rivers. When I complain about how bored I am without a little brother to play with, they try to make me feel bad by pointing out that his boredom likely far surpasses mine, considering his confine to a dark room in an institution.
I always beg for them to give him one last chance. Of course, they did at first. Charlie has been back home several times, each shorter in duration than the last. Every time without fail, it all starts again. The neighbourhood cats with gouged out eyes showing up in his toy chest, my dad’s razors found dropped on the baby slide in the park across the street, mom’s vitamins replaced by bits of dishwasher tablets.
My parents are hesitant now, using “last chances” sparingly. They say his disorder makes him charming, makes it easy for him to fake normalcy, and to trick the doctors who care for him into thinking he is ready for rehabilitation. That I will just have to put up with my boredom if it means staying safe from him.
I hate it when Charlie has to go away. It makes me have to pretend to be good until he is back or they’ll know it was me.
15. Real mommy issues.
Ed Kemper offed college women because his mother worked at a college and he claims he wanted to destroy everything she loved.
Then, he did away with his mother and decapitated her, raped her head and her body, set her head on a shelf and screamed at it for hours. (That is the part that terrifies me.)
Then he offed her best friend and turned himself in. Relaying the whole story in detail, crying.
Edit: “It hurts because I’m not a lizard. I didn’t crawl out from under a rock. I came from my mother’s vagina. And in a rage, I went right back in.” -Ed Kemper quote from an official interview.
14. A frozen moment.
I don’t know why I looked up, but when I did I saw him there. He stood against my window. His forehead rested against the glass, and his eyes were still and light and he smiled a lipstick-red, cartoonish grin. And he just stood there in the window. My wife was upstairs sleeping, my son was in his crib and I couldn’t move I froze and watched him looking past me through the glass.
Oh, please no. His smile never moved but he put a hand up and slid it down the glass, watching me. With matted hair and yellow skin and face through the window.
I couldn’t do anything. I just stayed there, frozen, feet still in the bushes I was pruning, looking into my home. He stood against my window.
13. Alison Botha.
This is from South Africa. The woman is called Alison Botha and she was abducted, raped and then choked until she blacked out. She was driven into a secluded area, st**bed 30 times in the abdomen and 16 times in the throat and left for dead on the side of the road.
She had to use her shirt to keep her organs inside her body and hold her head up because of a damaged muscle in her neck and proceeded to crawl to the road where she was eventually spotted and rescued.
She survived the attack and now does motivational speaking I believe.
12. Out of bounds.
A man went to a hotel and walked up to the front desk to check in. The woman at the desk gave him his key and told him that on the way to his room, there was a door with no number that was locked and no one was allowed in there.
She explained that it was a storeroom, and that it was out of bounds. She reminded him of this several times before allowing him upstairs. So he followed the instructions of the woman at the front desk, going straight to his room, and going to bed.
However, the insistence of the woman had piqued his curiosity, so the next night he walked down the hall to the door and tried the handle. Sure enough it was locked. He bent down and looked through the wide keyhole. Cold air passed through it, chilling his eye. What he saw was a hotel bedroom, like his, and in the corner was a woman whose skin was incredibly pale. She was leaning her head against the wall, facing away from the door. He stared in confusion for a while. Was this a celebrity? The owner’s daughter? He almost knocked on the door, out of curiosity but decided not to.
As he was still looking, the woman turned sharply and he jumped back from the door, hoping she would not suspect he had been spying on her. He crept away from the door and walked back to his room. The next day, he returned to the door and looked through the wide keyhole. This time, all he saw was redness. He couldn’t make anything out besides a distinct red color, unmoving. Perhaps the inhabitants of the room knew he was spying the night before, and had blocked the keyhole with something red. He felt embarrassed that he had made the woman so uncomfortable, and hoped she had not made a complaint with the woman on the front desk.
At this point he decided to consult her for more information. She sighed and said, “Did you look through the keyhole?”
The man told her that he had and she said, “Well, I might as well tell you the story of what happened in that room. A long time ago, a man offed his wife in there, and we find that even now, whoever stays there gets very uncomfortable. But these people were not ordinary. They were white all over, except for their eyes, which were red.”
11. A spooky page.
Many years ago, before there were cell phones we had these things called pagers strapped to our hips. Someone would page you with their phone number and you would call them back when you got to a phone. As an “on call technician” working in the Audio Visual field, my pager would go off all the freaking time. Like most people who used pagers, our clients knew that if you followed up your number with emergency, that would indicate to the technician to stop what they were doing and call right away. Although I was always busy I rarely if ever got emergencies.
One afternoon traveling from Orlando to Saint Petersburg via Interstate 4, my pager goes off with a number I don’t recognize, followed by the “emergency”. I find the first exit, and pull into a little truck stop looking place outside of Plant City, to use the pay phone. This takes maybe 3 minutes tops. I walk in, ask for some change and head to the wall where there are 4 pay phones to choose from. I pop my quarter in and dial the number displayed on my trusty pager. It rings…….. and rings…… and rings……. and rings. I’m thinking to myself WTF ?!?! Who would page me with an emergency and not answer their phone? it’s just about then that I notice another ringing sound in addition to the one in my ear…..
I pull the handset from my ear and two phones over on the wall another pay phone is ringing, but with an incoming call. I hang up my the handset and the ringing stops on the other phone. I walk a few paces over, pick up the handset and look at the phone number printed above the buttons , I look at the number on my pager, I look at the number on the phone, I look at the number on my pager again, I look at the phone AGAIN….. except for the “emergency” they are identical.
I kinda loose my breath for a second and then I make my way over to the girl at the counter and ask if she saw anyone use the pay phone. She said I was the the only person in the store in the last hour. The whole episode probably took 15 minutes, but man, I was freaked out! The hair on the back of my neck was standing straight up and I just wanted out of there!
I get about 10 miles down the Highway and come upon a scene that looked like an explosion went off…….4 car pile up involving a tractor trailer hauling a load of steel that had come loose, State Troopers and Paramedics just arriving. I pulled over to the side and helped the best I could, but it was all pretty much over once it began. I have no idea why I got that page or from whom or what but I’m convinced that if I hadn’t, I would not be alive to write this today.
10. A true horror.
There is a video on YouTube named Mereana Mordegard Glesgorv. If you search this, you will find nothing. The few times you find something, all you will see is a 20 second video of a man staring intently at you, expressionless, then grinning for the last two seconds. The background is undefined.
This is only part of the actual video.
The full video lasts two minutes, and was removed by YouTube after 153 people who viewed the video gouged out their eyes and mailed them to YouTube’s main office in San Bruno. Said people had also committed suicide in various ways. It is not yet known how they managed to mail their eyes after gouging them out. The cryptic inscription they carved on their forearms has not yet been deciphered.
YouTube will periodically put up the first 20 seconds of the video to quell suspicions, so that people will not go look for the real thing and upload it. The video itself was only viewed by one YouTube staff member, who started screaming after 45 seconds. This man is now under constant sedation and is apparently unable to recall what he saw. The other people who were in the same room as him while he viewed it and turned off the video for him say that all they heard at the time was a high pitched drilling sound. None of them dared look at the screen.
The person who uploaded the video was never found, the IP address being non-existant. And the man in the video has never been identified.
9. What a horrible thing.
The driver one of the Semis we took in on trade passed in the truck. The sleeping area is a “bunk” with a mattress that can be flipped up and under it is a seat and a table. So during the day it’s a Dinet set up. And at night, you pull a lever and pull the bunk down to sleep. Well something happened and the bunk flipped up while the driver was sleeping and it pinned him against the wall. He couldn’t get it to drop back down and suffocated.
He was stuck there for somewhere around 12 hours. Someone had noticed that he was parked for an unusually long amount of time for the kind of deliveries he did. The company that built the sleeper did something to the bunk so that couldn’t happen again and supposedly recalled all of that sleeper style.
8. The summer of 1983.
During the summer of 1983, in a quiet town near Minneapolis, Minnesota, the charred body of a woman was found inside the kitchen stove of a small farmhouse. A video camera was also found in the kitchen, standing on a tripod, pointing at the oven. No tape was found inside the camera at the time.
Although the scene was originally labeled as a homicide by officers, an unmarked VHS tape was later discovered at the bottom of the farm’s well, which had apparently dried up earlier that year.
Despite its worn condition, and the fact that it contained no audio, authorities were still able to view the contents of the tape. It depicted a woman recording herself in front of a video camera, seemingly using the same camera that the officers found in the kitchen. After positioning the camera to include both her and her kitchen stove in its view, she turned on the oven, opened the door, crawled inside, and then closed the door behind her. After eight minutes into the video, the oven could be seen shaking violently. At this point thick, black smoke emanated from it. For the remaining 45 minutes of video, until the batteries in the camera passed, it remained in its stationary position.
To avoid disturbing the local community, the authorities never released any information about the tape, or even the fact that it was found. They were also not able to determine who put the tape in the well, or why the height and stature of the woman in the video did not come close to matching the body that they had found in the oven.
7. A deadly building.
Guy goes into a small building and dies. Later, investigator shows up and sees the body, calls emergency and then dies.
Paramedics show up to help them, then die.
The reason? Oxygen levels at head height were normal.
Oxygen levels went bent over was basically 0.
Bending over in this room took out 4 people by asphyxiation.
6. It’s always white gown.
In June 1972, a woman appeared in Cedar Sinai hospital in nothing but a white, blood-covered gown.
Now this, in itself, should not be too surprising as people often have accidents nearby and come to the nearest hospital for medical attention, but there were two things that caused people who saw her to vomit and flee in terror.
The first being that she wasn’t exactly human. She resembled something close to a mannequin, but had the dexterity and fluidity of a normal human being. Her face was as flawless as a mannequins, devoid of eyebrows and smeared in make-up.
There was a kitten clamped in her jaws so unnaturally tight that no teeth could be seen, and the blood was still squirting out over her gown and onto the floor. She then pulled it out of her mouth, tossed it aside and collapsed.
From the moment she stepped through the entrance to when she was taken to a hospital room and cleaned up before being prepped for sedation, she was completely calm, expressionless and motionless. The doctors thought it best to restrain her until the authorities could arrive and she did not protest. They were unable to get any kind of response from her and most staff members felt too uncomfortable to look directly at her for more than a few seconds.
But the second the staff tried to sedate her, she fought back with extreme force. Two members of staff had to hold her down as her body rose up on the bed with that same, blank expression.
She turned her emotionless eyes towards the male doctor and did something unusual. She smiled.
As she did, the female doctor screamed and let go out of shock. In the woman’s mouth were not human teeth, but long, sharp spikes. Too long for her mouth to close fully without causing any damage …
The male doctor stared back at her for a moment before asking “What in the heck are you?”
She cracked her neck down to her shoulder to observe him, still smiling.
There was a long pause, the security had been alerted and could be heard coming down the hallway.
As he heard them approach, she darted forward, sinking her teeth into the front of his throat, ripping out his jugular and letting him fall to the floor, gasping for air as he choked on his own blood.
She stood up and leaned over him, her face coming dangerously close to his as the life faded from his eyes.
She leaned closer and whispered in his ear.
“I… am… God…”
The doctor’s eyes filled with fear as he watched her calmly walk away to greet the security men. His last ever sight would be watching her feast on them one by one.
The female doctor who survived the incident named her “The Expressionless”.
There was never a sighting of her again.
5. He just snapped.
Old janitor from high school, friendly Ecuadorian man who went by Ping.
Worked at the school for 20+ years and nobody had a problem with him
I guess his wife was leaving him and in the process of moving out
He caught her in bed with her new man. Next day, in the middle of town, he opened fire on her, the man and then offed himself before any officer had time to respond.
4. A slumber party gone wrong.
My mom told me this story once that back when she was growing up in a small farming community in Ohio, there was some kind of neighborhood party attended by a bunch of families with kids all around the same age. All the kids (including herself) had this like big slumber party in the basement.
They wake up the next morning and one of the kids is found in the middle of the road, having been hit with a truck, but with his whole body zipped all the way up in his sleeping bag. None of the kids owned up to doing and it the adults could never figure it out either.
After a while people just started moving on with their lives and everyone pretty much forgot about it.
3. Two minutes later.
My friend tripped and fell onto the tracks, landing his face onto the 3rd rail. We kinda stood there in absolute shock because we thought he was dead, but then he said, “can I move? Will I be electrocuted?” We told him to move instantly and he did, we got him off the tracks, and no less than 2 minutes later a train went zipping by.
I think the 3rd rail turned on seconds after his face came off of it. I know that’s not scary to a lot of people, but to me it was because I would have lost a close friend back when I was about 12.
2. That seems like a lot of work.
So there is this building that used to be a hotel and one day this guy shows up and he takes multiple trips going in and out with a bunch of equipment. They found him a little while later in his room. He had assembled an entire guillotine and cut his head off.
1. Nothing can be done.
That there’s a guy casing the bar that I work at literally right now, and I can’t do anything to stop him.
He’s been in asking what time/days we’re open, and what days we have security.
Caught him feeling the corners of our windows and doors too. Unfortunately, until he breaks in and robs us, the authorities won’t do a thing.
I would not have handled these as well as these folks, let me tell you!!
