Kids have a way of looking at the world that, in its innocence and freshness, can cause us to see things in totally new and different ways.
That’s a good thing, if you ask me, and it can also cause them to come up with hilariously true names for things we thought were already named well.
Here are 14 examples, and honestly, they make be believe kids should be in charge of naming absolutely everything.
14. How perfect.
Especially when you just stand there bouncing the balls up and down.
13. You are what you do, I suppose.
This is probably the nicest re-name of geese we’re going to find.
12. Mine adds “last day” for yesterday.
You cannot argue with this logic and I dare you to try.
11. I could not love this more.
Teenagers, take note.
10. Those are…not the same thing.
You must be buying some sour oranges.
9. Bless her heart.
These pandemic kids are going to be ok, right?
8. This is a whole book idea.
I am here for it.
7. Sure, another time would have been nicer.
But I love it all the same.
6. For now, anyway.
So was Anakin as a kid. I’m just saying.
5. Is she wrong, though?
I’m just asking.
4. Now that would be a field trip.
Schedule one every October.
3. They’ve got those senses down.
So that all makes perfect sense to them.
2. If this woman is married, she’s never hearing the end of this.
Like, never ever.
1. How fantastically creepy.
This kid might be a writer one day.
So who’s with me? Let’s put the kids in charge!
Let us know in the comments which of these you plan to adopt in your own life.
