It’s not a big secret that, by the time we reach our 40s or 50s, there are things we would have done differently in our past had we had the same knowledge then. But learning takes time – and understanding takes even longer – so it’s natural to reach middle age with at least a few regrets.
And while there’s not a darn thing we can do about our own choices, writer and university professor Nyasha Junior thought that maybe if women in their 40s could give advice to their 20-something selves, there might be some actual 20-somethings out there who would read it and take advantage.
