Employee Shares Story About a “Karen” Who Wanted Fresh Donuts “Straight From the Oil”

Guys, if you’ve never worked in a job where you have to deal with customers – real human beings – face-to-face multiple times a shift, I’m not sure you’ll ever understand how frustrating it can be to smile through the pain.

If you have, then you’ll feel the grief of this donut shop employee who had to deal with a women insisting she wanted her donuts “straight from the oil” and wouldn’t leave without them straight down to her soul.

It starts off simply enough…

And then, 4 years later… a Karen shows up in the author’s life and changes everything…

But this woman walked into a donut stall at a fair and demanded NEW donuts.

In the end, no one was really happy (despite the $100), but that’s pretty much an average day working with the public.
