If you’ve struggled with depression or you know someone who has, one thing is painfully obvious: constantly being tired is a difficult part of the equation.
A mental health advocate named PJ Palits recently took to Twitter to explain why mental illness causes people to be exhausted.
Palits also explained how people with depression are on a much different sleeping schedule than people who don’t have to deal with the affliction.
He also made some comparisons that shed more light on the situation.
Palits offered some advice as well.
Twitter users appreciated Palits’ efforts and offered their thanks.
Even if you don’t suffer from any kind of mental illness, it’s important to learn as much as you can about it so you can understand and sympathize with those who are forced to deal with it every day.
