There is no shortage of amazing Harry Potter-inspired goods and services in this world, and can I just say, thank goodness for that!
Now, superfan Carol Cavendish has spent a good amount of her own money (200,000 pounds!) to recreate a luxurious version of Hagrid’s hut that one can rent for the night.
From the outside, the house looks as if it could have been lifted to North Yorkshire from the grounds at Hogwarts, but on the inside…well, let’s just say you won’t be roughing it.
I think the copper tub is my favorite part (though whether or not Hagrid could have fit inside is another story!).
Carol spoke about her labor of love to Metro UK.
“Books have always been an important part of my life even after being diagnosed with dyslexia when I taught myself to read. They’ve also helped me through challenging times when I would turn to the Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings books for pure escapism.”

It opened to visitors on May 2 (just in time for Harry Potter Day!) and you can snag a night for just 195 pounds (around $252). Not bad!
I don’t know about you, but I’m thinking a bucket list trip around the world to hit all of the amazing Harry Potter spots is in order!
