“Baby Yoda” Jams Out to a Tune Improvised by Director Robert Rodriguez

Some things are just far too cute for this world, and Baby Yoda is without a doubt one of them. The babbling green toddler has won the hearts of internet-dwellers everywhere since his debut in Disney+’s The Mandalorian.

But, real talk… that’s not Yoda. It’s another of Yoda’s race called Grogu.

So for all of you Grogu fans out there, here’s a little behind-the-scenes gem that’s sure to brighten up your day. Director Robert Rodriguez pulled out his guitar for a mini jam session during a break on set, and Grogu grooved out to Rodriguez’s music.

Stars, they’re just like us – even the puppet ones. Rodriguez posted this precious clip as part of a holiday present for fans who’ve been yearning for some more Grogu content. The video was snagged during a break in filming season 2’s The Tragedy, onset of the Jedi temple on planet Tython.

As Rodriguez starts to pluck out a tune, Grogu moves and bops around to the rhythm. It’s real movie magic in action here, as there’s nary a string or stray puppeteer to be found in the shot. Here’s how the internet reacted to this whopping pile of cuteness.

Rock on, litte Grogu!

Same here… same here.

And let’s throw in an epic Britney remix, just for good measure.

What’s even more magical is that Grogu actually starts to sing along to the tune. If that doesn’t cake for the most adorable thing on the internet, then I don’t know what does. Any Mandalorian fan is sure to experience a major case of FOMO by watching Rodriguez jam out with the cutest little alien in the entire galaxy. It’s a sight to treasure, too, given that we don’t know what season 3 of the hit Disney+ holds in store for Grogu. As of right now, the package-sized Force wunderkind is off for Jedi training with the legendary Luke Skywalker.

Isn’t this just the cutest Grogu content you’ve ever seen? Or, do you have a video that totally one-ups this one?
