The last season of HBO’s Game of Thrones is here, and I for one couldn’t be more pumped. This show had me hooked since day 1, so to finally be able to see how it all ends is gonna be amazing (and, knowing this show, more than a little bittersweet).

You can’t throw a brick online without hitting some sort of crazy fan theory about who will sit upon the Iron Throne once all is said and done. Now, the show’s creators have revealed that you may not need to look so far to find the answer – they’ve apparently hidden it in a Spotify playlist!

David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, the co-creators and showrunners for Game of Thrones, decided to celebrate the final season with an epic playlist titled “Game of Thrones: The End Is Coming,” which they say captures the essence of the final season.

While the majority of the songs were chosen to match their feelings about the end of the show, they claim the ending is hidden somewhere in those 50 tracks.

“The answer to the ending is one hundred percent hidden in the playlist choices,” they revealed in an interview. “No one will believe us, but it’s true.”

The playlist contains plenty of amazing tracks by artists across multiple genres, and some are definitely pointed references to characters or events from the show.

Seriously, there are references GALORE.

OK, internet, do what you do best and crack this code ASAP!
