If you haven’t heard the name Alina Morse yet, keep your ears open. This 13-year-old entrepreneur started her very own company, ZolliCandy, after a formative trip to the bank with her father – when she was only 9! Morse’s dad told her to think twice about taking the free suckers offered at the bank, and the young girl decided to do some research about why sugar is so bad for our teeth. And ZolliCandy was born.

Zollipops are Morse’s version of traditional suckers; they are sugar-free and made with the sweeteners erythritol and xylitol, which have been shown to fight cavaties. The young lady has really planned out her products, which, in addition to being good for your teeth, are also gluten-free, vegan, non-GMO, kosher, organic, and contain only plant-based dyes and natural flavors.

Zollipops are not only good for you, they’re popular as well. They recently became the top-selling lollipops on Amazon, beating out old classics like Blowpops and Dum Dums. With her sweet success, Morse became the youngest person to ever be featured on the cover of Entrepreneur magazine.

Morse said about the success of her company, “Consumers are realizing there is way too much sugar in their diets but we still want to have treats. And with Zolli Candy, we are giving consumers what they want: guilt-free treats.”

You can find Zollipops on Amazon and in stores like Kroger, Walmart and Whole Foods. And you can find Morse out there kicking some entrepreneurial butt!
